About WHERE ARE WE NOW? Grants and donations have been received for Phase 1 development of Seven Pines Park. The 17 acre parcel is located off Route 390 behind Calle’s Pretzel Factory. The commission broke ground in 2006 and began construction of two Little League fields. The adjacent property known as Ice Lake is 66 acres and will be left as a natural area with trails linking to Seven Pines. PARC is also working on the Master Site Plan for Skywood Park. The 55-acre site on Route 191 has a beautiful vista, natural-sledding hill, and most recently an ice skating rink. PARC needs the support of the community and local businesses to complete our regional park project. |
